Past Presidents Scholarship
- Applicant must be a high school graduate. A recent photo, no larger than a 4x6 should be submitted with the application.
- Applicant should include a copy of either a high school or college/university transcript.
- Applicant should submit a letter of recommendation from a member of their community with the application.
- Applicant must already be accepted or enrolled for one (1) quarter or semester in an accredited mortuary school with a grade point average of at least 2.5.
- The application must be submitted through a district within the association: Cape Fear, Central, Eastern, Piedmont, or Western. A letter from the district president and a district member should accompany the application. Upon district approval, applications are to be forward to the Education & Scholarship Committee by the deadline noted below.
Past President’s Scholarship Guidelines
The scholarship is for the sole purpose of tuition and books. The amount available for scholarship is up to $1,500, depending on number of qualified applicants.
