Membership

Membership consist of all licensees who are actively engaged in the funeral industry and are of good repute, living in the State of North Carolina and all other states who shall register their intentions of becoming a member of the FDMANC, Inc.  All members of the FDMANC, Inc. shall pay annual dues for the continuation of the State Charter.  The FDMANC consists of five districts:  Cape Fear, Central, Eastern, Piedmont and Western.

General Membership

A licensee (funeral director, embalming, funeral service) of good moral character and ethically sound shall be considered for membership by this association’s members.  All annual dues (District, State and National) and assessments, if any, shall be paid through the respective District.

Life Membership

A general member or member-at-large who has reached the age of 70 or older and who has been a member in good standing for 25 continuous years or more shall be considered for the status of Life Member of the FDMANC.

Student Membership

Any student enrolled in an accredited funeral program shall be considered for membership by the respective district members.  Students may participate in District, State, and National activities and events, however, voting rights are not included.
